Everyday friction,
turned into tools
Making reality a little less tedious.
Tools you can use now
What becomes a tool
The target is the thing you would shrug off once but that grates every time it comes back — a file that only opens if you buy the software, the same form filled in from scratch again, figures copied across by hand.
What has been built so far is all small. Each does one thing, and stays as light as it can.
What exists now
HWP, HWPX and PDF into Markdown. It is the structure language models read most reliably, so it goes straight into a summary or translation. Images inside the document come out too.
Fill in the blanks of a résumé, cover letter or resignation notice and download it as HWP, Word or PDF. A Korean file comes out without buying Hancom Office.
With several AI coding sessions running, one number in the menu bar says how many have stopped and are waiting for you. Click one and its terminal window comes to the front.
How these tools get made
Start small
There are three tools right now. Better to finish one properly and move on than to open several and stall halfway through all of them.
Keep it on your machine where possible
All three finish on your own machine. Documents never go up to a server, and session data never leaves the device, so official paperwork and contracts can go straight in.
No sign-up, for any of them
There is no account to create. The document tools open in a browser; the app is downloaded.
Common questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. No payment, no account. Ads cover the running costs.
- What do I have to install?
- For the document tools, a browser is enough — they read and write Korean files without Hancom Office. agent-monitor is a macOS app, so it is downloaded.
- Where does my file go?
- Nowhere. Documents are handled inside your browser and session data inside the app, so nothing leaves your device.
- I have a tool I wish existed.
- Send it through the contact page. Describing the friction you keep running into is enough.
